What is it with actors and drugs? Why do these people with future as bright as the sun, and money and fame and everything fall for the pit less trap that is drugs? I mean, didn't they knew that drugs is the worst thing money can buy? Why do people want to get temporary high anyways, when you can find love and happiness in abundance around you? When you decide to do drugs, you choose to be selfish. The fact that people you love or people who love you suffer seems unfair and like I mentioned earlier, selfish.

In this first month of 2008, two major actor was found dead caused by drugs. On January 15, the child actor of The Client, Brad Renfro was found dead at his apartment. The cause of death has not yet determined.At age of 25, he survived a son, Yamato Renfro who lives with his mother in Japan. A few days before found dead, Brad Renfro get a tattoo "Fuck All Y'all" at the back of his head, which only rising speculation whether his death is a premeditated suicide or else.

Exactly a week after that, on January 22, Heath Ledger, a reknown actor who give a memorable performance in Brokeback Mountain, was found dead at his SoHo apartment. Overdose on drugs and medications was said to be the cause but the autopsy results were inconclusive. His untimely death sends shock waves trough out the world. Nobody has any idea of his drug problem. Condolences and words of disbelieve flooding the internet for the nest two days. However, his 'lover' from the Brokeback film, Jake Gyllenhall is not releasing any comments because he was too distraught to speak. Ledger survives a daughter, Matilda.
